Once you are ready you can submit your documents using two different ways:
All drivers can update their registration using the regular mail - You can send your documents to the following address: VicRoads GPO Box 1644 Melbourne 3001.
Another way is to update your registration by visiting one of the VicRoads customer services * - You can visit one of the VicRoads centers near you.
*Due to the current COVID situation the opening times at the VicRoads customer service centers may be affected by scheduling restrictions. Before scheduling your appointment, check the official VicRoads website for more info.
Updating your address
To update or change a home address under a company name, it will be necessary to submit an official company letter specifying the vehicle or vessel details. In order to comply with all the VicRoads specifications, we recommend you to follow the next guideline before making your appointment to change the address on your registration:
- The new address must be clearly specified.
- The letter must be signed by the direct responsible person of the vehicle.
- The letter must be sealed, or show the company letterhead.
- The letter must contain all the details of the vehicle or affected vessels (i.e. model of the vehicle, registration number, etc).
Before making your appointment visit the official VIcRoads website to check the customer centers availability.
Updating your company name
To change the name of your company in your registration, it is necessary to submit an official letter to the VicRoads department. The letter must contain all the vehicle or vessel details.
