Your LS
All new drivers must apply for the learners license to the Vic Roads department. To be allowed to complete this process the driver must be 16 years old or older and pass a driving exam.
There are two different exams you will be tested on:
- A Knowledge test
- An eyesight test
1 - First of all, you must study for the knowledge test. This exam contains 32 questions and the pass score is 78%. All drivers will have to answer at least 25 questions right to pass.
To be prepared, you can access the “Road to Solo Driving handbook” which you may download from the official VicRoads website. Note that there are different languages available for you to facilitate comprehension.
2 - Once the driver is ready to take the official exam, proceed to schedule an appointment and visit the VicRoads customer service department to access the test.
To make an appointment you can use different ways:
- Visit the VicRoads customer service center - Due to COVID19 this service may not be available.
- Online - make your appointment fast and easy entering the official VicRoads website.
